Missing firsts

The first day of school in our town was last week.  Owen started his last year of preschool.

If Noah had lived, he would be the same age that Owen was when he started preschool.

Owen’s school is incredibly full.  There are wait lists for every class but one.  The one that Noah would have been in.  His spot is there.  But he isn’t. 💔

  1. When my kids were in pre-K, there was a little boy in their class who didn’t come back after Thanksgiving break. His mother came to the pre-K graduation in June and gave little pails and shovels to all the kids. I barely knew the boy and yet still think of him when I see those pails in the garage that I can’t part with. In my mind he’s a pre-schooler but he’d be 10 like my kids. I can’t imagine… xoxoxo
